I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. Not once did I see it coming. In the winter of 1996, I became victim of a hit-and-run that sent my car careening into a concrete wall, rebounding, and soaring 9-10 feet into the air. Somehow and luckily, I survived the crash. As a year passed, I bore witness to the deterioration of my body. In coordination, severe migraines, shaky hands, blurry vision and more. Led me to see a Neurologist. An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan of my brain revealed that my cerebellum - the part of the brain that controls body movements - had herniated due to the impact from the crash. I was given two options: do nothing and become a vegetable in 3-5 years' time or undergo brain surgery with a 10% chance of survival. I chose surgery. Read More
